TAP-ATX’s mission is to connect, grow, and empower the greater Austin community by providing quality resources and programs from the Taiwanese American perspective. We’re a chapter of the nationwide Taiwanese American Professionals program under the 501(c)3 Taiwanese American Citizen’s League (TACL).

Join us as we commemorate 40 incredible years of the national civic advocacy non-profit Taiwanese American Citizens League, at the 2025 National Convention TAPpy Hour & BBQ Banquet in Austin, TX from September 19-22, 2025!
In addition, we’re hosting our Taiwanese American leaders and peers throughout the nation for the annual TACL National Convention. This occasion also marks 10 years of the Taiwanese American Professionals program chapter in Austin. Let’s honor our past and build our future together!

Looking to get involved or stay in touch with the local Taiwanese American community?
Attend one of our upcoming events and speak with our TAP-ATX officers who volunteer their time to run the organization. Involvement can be as simple as being a frequent attendee, helping with event tasks, or spreading the word about us! Deeper involvement includes tasks like ideating and leading an event under the mentorship of our leadership board.
